it is unacceptable especially on a holiday which forces people to just accept poor treatment and feel helpless with the situation. I was at the lobby begging for him to please check us in as we travelled far and was feeling under the weather due to recent separation however he had nothing to say but “ I’m not trying to be mean but we have no rooms for you.”This practice of selling room that is booked to last minute guests for a higher price must stop. As a women we should not have to be made to feel helpless and just have to accept second class treatment. Why because for sure his turn away would not be taken lightly. I stood by the front desk to contact Expedia to clarify what was going on with my booking during this time I observed Ethan being attentive to males and Caucasian families with male figure presence. My conclusion is that Ethan was picking who to turn away to open slots for late comers and charge a higher price.I I felt discriminated And targeted being a women with a young child. It is not possible that hotel was fully booked. Parking lot had less than ten cars, hotel room lights only half on at 7 pm, online home2suite site had availability at 6:30 pm, I contacted home2suite booking office to inquire if my booking was on their system as I am a part of the Hilton honours and they confirmed my booking was on the system and availability of room which I booked was available online. He turned away another family who were also 2 female with the same story that their room were already taken and hotel was fully booked. As I stood by the front desk hands shaking, heart pounding in disbelief for almost 2 hrs. I still couldn’t understand his explanation and disappointing news. I asked him if everyone has checked in and he said no but he based his turn always on reservations before me. Ethan front desk worker indicated he saw the error when he got in to work that afternoon and went ahead and booked a room at adjourning sister hotel best western. Room was booked since september how is that possible. When Ethan finally acknowledged my presence and pretended to check the system for my name he quickly stated that the room I booked was no longer available. I think he was waiting to see if I was with more people. I emptied all belongings for the stay and stood by the front desk for about 15 minutes and was not acknowledged right away. Normally we see the same kind workers at front desk but this time around it was a new face-Ethan. Drove 5 hrs from Canada with a 10 year old and arrived at the hotel by 4 pm. I recently Booked this hotel since Sept 2017 for assurance of having a room and received confirmation for the 2 night Stay for thanksgiving Black Friday shopping. Hilton will also be notified of all this.Home2suite was my go to hotel when coming to Erie, pa for a quick shopper no get away. There was something spilled in the main Guest Lobby area that ran from the front desk all the way to the pool area and was not cleaned up-this place was horrible! Breakfast did not have enough food for registered hotel guests-no coffee, no bread, no seating and housekeeping staff were smoking cigarettes right outside the front door-I mean I could not believe all of this was happening under one roof! Never once was any kind of management on site. It was scary! Asked to please move, yet the next room was just the same-we were so disappointed as this is a new hotel and we are Hilton Honors members. The room had a huge fruit punch stain on the carpet along with other stains and the pillows on beds looked liked someone had just slept there. Tried to check in to this hotel under our reservation at 4:15PM-the front desk said we could not check in yet as they did not have enough towels-Huh? We waited until 5PM to get into the room. Go to the Sheraton Erie Waterfront Hotel instead of this place.

8GB of RAM is ideal, but 4GB will do for light use. Random access memory, or RAM, stores data your computer needs to access, and helps your computer run multiple applications at a time. Compared to your computer's RAM, which is essentially short-term memory, the hard drive is your computer's long-term memory: It stores the stuff you want to open and access throughout the lifetime of the machine. The hard drive (HDD, SSD, or eMMC) stores all of your data, including your operating system, games, documents, music, and movies. Regardless, battery life can make a significant impact on getting through your work- or school day, so make sure that the laptop you purchase delivers at least 8 hours of battery life before needing recharging. Given their smaller sizes, mini laptops just don't deliver a battery life as long as full-sized models are capable of. Affordable mini laptops with the latter are best suited for basic tasks like web browsing, streaming video, or typing Word documents. We suggest that you opt for a product with an Intel Core series chip because it's more capable than the entry-level Celeron series. The newer the processor (CPU), the more power and better performance your new laptop will offer. Since choosing the right set of features will ensure you or a loved one will be happy with a mini laptop for years to come, I outlined everything you should consider before making the investment. I know reading the specifications of a laptop can seem a bit overwhelming (and quite boring), but they're the most important thing to pay attention to when you're shopping for a new computer - whether it's for you, your fourth grader, or a gift for a soon-to-be college student. So, I've scoured the internet to find the most powerful and portable laptops money can buy. While mini laptops may not offer the same processing power or expansive screens as larger laptops, their portability, affordability, and simplicity make them a worthwhile option for many. Although most laptops these days have a 13.3-inch display size, some are equipped with screens as large as 17 inches and weigh as much as 9 pounds. Laptops are smaller, thinner, and more powerful than ever before. |
